Hope4Lebanon
We invite you to partner with Good Shepherd School and a local evangelical church, located in northern Lebanon, to reach their community with the transformational love and hope of Jesus!
The school serves refugee children from Muslim families, which then opens doors for the families to also receive prayer, ministry and practical help. These children are not allowed to enroll in local schools making Good Shepherd their only chance for an education.
The church is the only evangelical ministry in the region and is serving both Catholic and Muslim background villages.
The Needs
Good Shepherd School:
- Monthly wages for 10 teachers
- Solar system & electric re-wiring
- Plaster & paint – interior & exterior
- Flooring (tile)
- Playground
- Funds for transporting the children to and from school
The Church:
- Doors & windows purchased & installed
- Painting – interior & exterior
- Plastic chairs, wooden tables
- Flooring (tile)
- Sound system & speaker
Middle East Ministry Retreat Center
Located near the ancient Biblical site of Ephesus, this retreat center has served as a place of ministry and rest for national & international churches & believers across the nation and hosted many conferences, and camps – family, youth, and children.
The Needs
- Lawn & garden maintenance, landscaping, pruning
- Building maintenance & repairs, fresh paint, deep cleaning
- Seasonally: winterizing at the end of Fall and Spring cleaning for busy Spring & Summer
Included in the trip:
- Day trip to Ephesus & a Greek village on the mountain above Ephesus.
- Day trip or overnight to the nearby Greek island of Samos for sightseeing and to visiting our ministry partners at Hope House.
- A 4-day tour of the 7 Churches of Revelation
Cost: Would depend on time of year, length of stay, and which part of the project you would like to do.
